While Visa would like to respond individually to every applicant, we receive an extremely high volume of applications and are only able to respond to those who have qualifications that match current openings. Please review the following FAQs for answers to some of the most common questions people ask about careers at Visa.
Q: How do I search and apply for a position at Visa?
A: Specify your job search criteria, click “Search for Jobs” and our search engine combs all of Visa's current job openings. Once you have identified the job(s) that matches your experience and education, you can apply for the position by clicking the "Apply" link under the job posting. This will prompt you to register and create your candidate profile. If you do not see a job that matches your preferred criteria, you can register and submit your profile to be considered for future openings that match your interests, experience and education. To do this, click on "Access My Profile" under Candidate Profile on the right-hand side of the job postings and select "New User.”
Only resumes submitted electronically through Visa's online system will be considered.
Q: How do I search for a specific job number?
A: Enter the job number in the "Job Number" field and click "Search for Jobs."
Q: How long after submitting my resume can I expect to hear from Visa?
A: All resume submissions are stored in our resume database. Visa recruiters will have access to your profile and may contact you if your background and skill set match the position(s) you have applied for or another current opening. Your resume will remain active in our database for up to one year and will be considered for future openings matching your interests, experience and education.
Q: How do I send a job description to a friend?
A: Click "Send this job to a friend," which is located in the right column next to the job description. Enter your friend's e-mail address and your e-mail address – including a brief message is optional. The subject line will be pre-populated. All the relevant details on the job will be included in the message. Click "Send" to forward the information to your friend.
Q: I need some assistance with the online application process. Whom can I contact?
A: For assistance in completing your application online, e-mail taleosupport@visa.com.
Q: Do I need to create a separate profile if I am applying for more than one position?
A: You can apply to multiple positions with the same profile. Click "Apply" under the position that you want to apply to. The system will prompt you to log in with the username and password you selected when you created your profile. If you can't remember your log-in information, click "Forgot your password?" to reset your password.
Q: How do I update my profile to show additional information?
A: You can add additional information anytime by logging into your account and editing your profile.
Q: Will I be at a disadvantage if I apply for several positions at the same time?
A: Not at all! You may apply for as many positions as you see fit, given your experience and qualifications. A Visa recruiter will review your resume and contact you with next steps if your background and skill set match the position(s) you have applied for or other active openings.
Q: Is there a way to check the status of my application online?
A: At this time, you are not able to check the status of your application online. You will be contacted by a Visa recruiter should your background and skill set match an open position.
Q: Does Visa accept resumes from agencies?
A: Visa does not accept resumes/C.V.s from headhunters or suppliers who have not signed a formal fee agreement with us. We select our suppliers based on specific hiring needs. Therefore, any resume received from an unapproved supplier is considered unsolicited, and Visa will not be obligated to pay a referral fee.
